Verify the image URL is publicly accessible — paste it directly into a browser tab and confirm it loads.

Make sure the URL is HTTPS, not HTTP — Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail all block non-secure image URLs.

Check the file format — use PNG or JPG only. WEBP, SVG, and GIF are unsupported in most email clients.

Keep the file size under 50KB — large images time out silently, especially on mobile connections.

If the image shows in Gmail but not Outlook, Outlook is blocking external images by default — recipients need to click "Allow images" or you need to use embedded (cid:) images.

If the image appeared before but stopped, the URL has likely changed — re-host the image and update your signature.

For Gmail, upload the image using Gmail's own image insert tool — this hosts it on Google's servers, which are always trusted and never blocked.
